Acrisure UK Announces Macmillan Cancer Support as 2026 UK Lead Charity

09 06 26 | Acrisure Broking, Press Release

Acrisure UK part of global fintech leader Acrisure, has raised more than £134,000 in the first few months of this year after announcing Macmillan Cancer Support as its 2026 UK Lead Charity.

More than 800 employees across Acrisure Re, Acrisure London Wholesale, and Acrisure UK Retail cast their votes to select a chosen charity for 2026, and many have already committed to take part in fundraising efforts for the cancer support organisation. This includes a series of activities – a staff sleepout, charity quiz nights, abseils, marathons, and bake-offs.

Acrisure UK hosted its sixth annual and highly anticipated football tournament at The Amex football stadium in Brighton, which featured a dedicated women’s match and 20 other teams comprised of our partners, clients and employees.

2025 was Acrisure UK’s most successful year of charitable fundraising, collecting more than £200,000 for charities in the UK, including Brain Research UK.

Acrisure UK offices will also participate in nationwide charity fundraising efforts, alongside their ongoing support for the regional and local causes close to their communities. Acrisure UK will also continue with its Nomination Fund, an initiative that enables employees to nominate additional charities to receive donations.

Tom Quy, Head of Charity and Managing Director at Acrisure London Wholesale, said: “Our 6th annual football tournament brought our UK businesses together to support Macmillan, along with the first ever Women’s match. At Acrisure, we care deeply about our customers and communities – we support our people, champion different perspectives, and show up to make a real difference. Our employees across the UK truly went the extra mile in 2025, raising record amounts for our charity partners, and we’re determined to go even further for Macmillan Cancer Support this year. Our Charity Committee has a range of exciting fundraising opportunities lined up over the coming months, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we have already achieved this year.”

Macmillan is dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by cancer by providing practical, emotional, and financial support whenever it is needed. Today, the number of people living with cancer in the UK is at a record high and continues to rise, with almost 3.5 million people affected.

Through specially trained nurses, advisers, professionals, and volunteer buddies, Macmillan provides free emotional support and trusted information every day, including via the Macmillan Support Line, through the Online Community and at Macmillan centres and healthcare sites across the UK. Macmillan Cancer Support continues to do whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care, support, and information the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are, whenever they might need it.

Victoria Floyd, Head of Corporate Partnerships at Macmillan Cancer Support, said: “We are delighted to have been selected by Acrisure as their lead charity partner in the UK. It means so much to us that their brilliant colleagues will be baking cakes, scoring goals and quizzing to raise vital funds for Macmillan. It is only with the generous support of partners like Acrisure that we can continue to do whatever it takes to support people with cancer and spark a revolution in cancer care for the future.”
